Winter

Winters here are busy and fun. However winter here also offers a chance to indulge and unwind — all things massage and pampering please! Our favourite thing to do? Rugging up, grabbing a coffee or tea and go whale watching. Maybe you watch from the comfort of your holiday home or from our land-based whale watching platforms in Minnamurra or Gerringong. Or head to a restaurant with a view — you may get lucky.

Check out special events such as the Winter Wine Festival, Jamberoo Music Festival and the Kiama Bodyboard King Pro. There are often mid-week specials too, so don’t forget to sign up to our newsletter to stay in the loop!

Rainy Days in the Kiama Region

Wet Weather Activities

Rainy days are like nature’s permission note for all of us to sink into cosy couches and enjoy hot drinks, good books, blankets, and binge-worthy shows. But here in the Kiama area, they offer so much more.

The sight of raindrops is a welcome relief for the many farmers and growers who make up a big part of our region. And it can also be a welcome opportunity for you to explore somewhere new, try something different or to simply see nature at its most spectacular. For more ideas, see below:
