Destination Kiama is the Tourism and Events Department of Kiama Council, dedicated to showcasing the beauty, experiences, and vibrancy of our region. Our passionate team works across four key areas:

- Destination Marketing & Development
We lead strategic marketing, planning, partnerships, and experience development to grow Kiama’s visitor economy. - Visitor Servicing
Our Visitor Information Centre at Blowhole Point welcomes up to 50,000 inquiries annually, offering expert advice and local insights. - Destination Events
We deliver signature events like the Kiama Winter Festival, and support local initiatives through the Destination Event Funding Program. - The Pavilion Kiama
Our stunning beachside venue hosts conferences, weddings, festivals, and community events, making every occasion memorable.

🧭 Kiama Tourism Economic Advisory Committee
The Tourism and Economic Advisory Committee (TEAC) is Chaired by Cr Matt Brown and includes five skilled industry representatives, three Councillors, a CEO appointee, and a representative from the Kiama Business Network.
The committee provides strategic advice to Council, connects with local communities, and represents the tourism industry in shaping Kiama’s future.
