The Destination Kiama Team

Destination Kiama is the Tourism and Events Department of Kiama Council, dedicated to showcasing the beauty, experiences, and vibrancy of our region. Our passionate team works across four key areas:

💡 What We Do

  • Destination Marketing & Development
    We lead strategic marketing, planning, partnerships, and experience development to grow Kiama’s visitor economy.
  • Visitor Servicing
    Our Visitor Information Centre at Blowhole Point welcomes up to 50,000 inquiries annually, offering expert advice and local insights.
  • Destination Events
    We deliver signature events like the Kiama Winter Festival, and support local initiatives through the Destination Event Funding Program.
  • The Pavilion Kiama
    Our stunning beachside venue hosts conferences, weddings, festivals, and community events, making every occasion memorable.

🧭 Kiama Tourism Economic Advisory Committee

The Tourism and Economic Advisory Committee (TEAC) is Chaired by Cr Matt Brown and includes five skilled industry representatives, three Councillors, a CEO appointee, and a representative from the Kiama Business Network.

The committee provides strategic advice to Council, connects with local communities, and represents the tourism industry in shaping Kiama’s future.
