Paradise found

Get your bearings and snap incredible views at Kingsford Smith lookout in Gerroa. With panoramic views of Seven Mile Beach, this lookout commemorates the first commercial flight from Australia to New Zealand by Sir Charles Kingsford Smith in 1933 which took place on the long smooth beach below.

Surfing safari

The long sweep of Seven Mile Beach is backed by sand dunes and forest and is a great flat beach for swimming and surfing for all levels and ages. It’s also home to our surf schools, which offer high-quality, friendly instruction at various spots along Seven Mile Beach. Head to the North end for shallow waters and mellow waves, perfect for teaching kids and having fun beach time for all. For intermediate to experienced surfers try Black Point at the headland in Gerroa, offering a left-hand reef break.
