Interested in hosting your own event in Kiama?
As part of our Tourism and Events Strategy, Destination Kiama is keen to hear from and work with Destination Events.
Destination Events are those events that attract people to our area, from outside our area. These are events that are located in the Kiama Local Government Area (LGA), attracting significant attendees/participants and that are keen to promote our destination.

Destination Event organisers are invited and encouraged to contact our Event Coordinators with any questions or queries, whether that be in relation to checking the events calendar for date availability, discussing event promotion, packaging, ideas and/or partnerships at events@kiama.nsw.gov.au or on 02 4232 0444.
Area Events Signage
Destination Kiama maintains two ‘event signage boards’ located near the Princes Highway at both the northern and southern Municipality boundaries – one at Bombo Beach in the North and one at Gerringong/Toolijooa in the South.
The signs are designed to advertise events that will be held in any location in the Municipality and that have the ability to attract visitors from outside our region. Destination Kiama is also able to promote your Kiama area based event through other mediums including social media, our What’s On brochure, E-News and website. Please ensure that you provide your event details to the Kiama Visitor Information Centre as soon as possible.
