Creators Mark Art Prize and Exhibition – Rhythms of Grace

The inaugural Creators Mark Art Prize and Exhibition invites Illawarra artists to showcase their unique interpretations of the 2024 theme, “Rhythms of Grace.” Submissions in paint, pencil, and mixed media (on canvas and in sculpture) should explore the natural beauty of Illawarra and its spiritual connection.

Prizes are as follows:

• Open (18+ years): 1st Prize $3000, 2nd Prize $2000, 3rd Prize $1000
• Youth (12-17 years): $750
• People’s Choice Award: $500 Levers Gift Voucher
• Developing Artist (under 12): $100

Event Schedule at Gerringong Town Hall:

Friday, September 27, 7 PM:
Official opening and presentation of the Open and Youth Prizes, art sales, refreshments, and grazing table, with MC and guest speaker Emily King.

Saturday, September 28, 10 AM – 4 PM:
Interactive experience with artisan markets (proceeds to Illawarra Community Care), kids workshops at 10 AM and 2 PM, an all-day interactive art space on the lawn, and Devonshire teas inside.

Sunday, September 29, 10 AM – 4 PM:
Closing celebration hosted by C3 Shellharbour from 10 AM to 12 PM with music, an Artist Q&A, and the People’s Choice Award presentation. Art show open until 4 PM.

All interested artists are warmly invited to enter and participate.  Submissions will be open until 31st August, 2024.
