The Kiama Historical Society will host a practical history workshop led by Royal Australian Historical Society President Carol Liston and Senior Vice President Christine Yeats.
Designed for local historians, family researchers and writers, the workshop will cover effective use of Trove, the Historical Land Records Viewer and colonial records to build research skills and confidence.
Saturday 18 July, 10am–1pm
Kiama Library Auditorium, 7 Railway Parade, Kiama
Cost: $25 for historical society members, $30 for non-members. Morning tea, lunch and refreshments are included.
Carol Liston will also present a talk at 1.45pm on Kiama’s Rutter sisters, tracing their journey from orphans to society leaders.
