Velocity Falls at Jamberoo Action Park
Jamberoo Action Park will be opening for their 2022-23 season this Saturday 24 September. Velocity Falls offers a world-class experience built into the side of the mountain. Two new rides are opening as part of this new precinct, Octo Racer and The Stinger – some of the biggest, newest rides of their type in Australia! With volumes of water, racing at speed, and the experience of zero gravity, this is something you will want to write home about!

Discover the Enchanted Forest at the Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures
Fly into Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures these school holidays and discover the magical enchanted forest featuring fairies, mermaids, and more! Fitted with a whimsical neighbourhood of fairy homes and their fascinating inhabitants as they make friends with the other local wildlife of wombats, echidnas, and wallabies.
Free with your entry ticket, each child will receive an Enchanted Forest activity book which is filled with a variety of fun, creative puzzles, colour-ins, and a competition that you can enter at the end of your visit.

Buena Vista Farm Tours “Goat Therapy”
Buena Vista Farm has recently welcomed over 63 baby goats in the past 5 weeks. This Spring they are offering a Goat Therapy farm tour to add to their regular farm tour, this one hour farm visit is designed for families with little kids. You’ll visit the goats, meet the babies and their amazing mummas, have goat cuddles, and have lots of animal interaction.
Fiona and her family will also show you the pigs, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, as they do their thing around arguably the most picturesque farm in NSW – and you’re welcome to take as many photos as you like!
At the end of the tour, there will be an opportunity to buy fresh goat’s cheese and other farm goodies.

Whale Watching Cruise
Operating from Shell Cove Marina, the Shellharbour Wild Whale Watching Cruise gives you the rare opportunity to witness the majestic beauty of our migrating Humpback Whales, as well as Dolphins and Seals. The southern migration in full swing for 2022 with mothers and their newborn calves coming closer to shore giving you the chance to observe the mothers teaching and nursing their young.

Minnamurra Rainforest Twilight Tours and Junior Ranger Program
If you have a budding Wildlife Warrior, this one’s for you! Minnamurra Rainforest Centre is hosting a range of school holiday workshops for mini nature lovers. The Junior Ranger program will give children the chance to be wildlife detectives, exploring the rainforest and looking for evidence that indicates animals do live there. They are also offering a rainforest tour by torchlight, join an experienced discovery guide on an exclusive after hours, night-time adventure. The darkness will enhance your senses as you stroll the Rainforest Look Walk, keeping an eye out for the resident nocturnal animals.
