Kiama Family History Centre

The Kiama Family History Centre is owned and operated as a community service by Kiama Municipal Council, and is located on the ground level of the Kiama Library building.

The Family History Centre has been helping people trace their family history for more than 25 years. If you are working on a genealogical or local history project and require help or would just like to discover new avenues of research, the Kiama Family History Centre is the place to visit.

The Family History Centre has an extensive collection of books, films, maps, databases and access to online genealogical service providers, enabling access to records regarding not only in the Kiama area but throughout Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Europe and America.

The Centre offers commissioned research, group visits, personal assistance and records retrieval services.

Open Tuesday to Friday 9:30am to 3:00pm and Saturday 9:00am to 2:00pm. Closed Mondays.
