Kiama Logo

Heading west from the Saddleback Mountain Lookout, the walking track is marked by green posts and follows the ridge up the escarpment to Mount Noorinan.

This track was originally used to transport produce to Kiama for shipping in the 1800s, and at one point continued west to Bowral through the remnant rainforest that stretched all the way to the coastline.

Birdwatching is popular here – keep an eye out for crimson rosellas, eastern bristlebirds, and the golden whistler.

The track is steeply graded and becomes slippery at times, so sensible shoes are recommended.

This track takes about two hours with a distance of seven kilometres for the return journey.
