About the Kiama Show Society

Established on 24 November 1848, the Kiama Show Society is one of Australia’s five oldest agricultural show societies still in continuous operation. For more than 175 years, the Society has proudly celebrated the region’s agricultural heritage while bringing the community together through a range of events.

The annual Kiama Show is the Society’s signature event, showcasing agriculture, local talent, entertainment and family fun. Throughout the year, the Society also hosts popular events such as the Show Ball and Trivia Night and actively supports community events across the Kiama region.

Set beside Kiama’s Surf Beach, the Kiama Showground is one of Australia’s most picturesque showgrounds, offering spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the iconic Kiama Blowhole.

The Kiama Show provides a unique experience where visitors can enjoy the best of country traditions in a stunning coastal setting. Supported by a dedicated team of volunteers, the Kiama Show Society continues to preserve its proud history while creating memorable experiences for the community and future generations.
