Artist Caroline Rothwell and host Clarence Slockee come together for a thought-provoking conversation exploring the intersections of art and science.
Presented as part of National Science Week, this discussion examines how creative and scientific approaches can help us understand ecology, environmental change and our relationship with the natural world.
Caroline Rothwell’s is a multidisciplinary artist with a research based practice looking to the intersection of art, science and nature. She works across an expanded field of sculpture, often manipulating botanical and industrial forms to consider multi-species interconnection, environmental care, technology and the future. She has developed unique processes and methodologies resulting in a distinct visual language. In 2027 she has a solo show at McClelland Gallery and Sculpture Park.
