Join guest speaker Russell Fredericks as he shares the stories of three aeroplane crashes in the Kiama LGA – one at the start of WWII, one towards the end, and another in the late 1950s. The first two involved RAAF planes, while the third was an RAN flight.
Though detailed records are scarce, Russell will present what is known about each crash, including the officers who lost their lives, the reactions of local communities, and the discoveries made at the crash sites.
