Minnamurra Rainforest by Torchlight

Experience the magic of the rainforest after dark on a family-friendly guided adventure in Budderoo National Park. Led by an experienced guide from the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, this after-hours tour takes participants along the Lyrebird loop walk through the enchanting Minnamurra Rainforest, just inland from Kiama.

By torchlight, visitors cross suspension bridges and elevated walkways as the forest comes alive with nocturnal sounds. With senses heightened in the darkness, they can search for signs of wildlife, breathe in the rich scents of the rainforest, and listen for the creatures that inhabit this unique environment.

This 1.6km medium-grade walk is suitable for adults and children aged 5 years and over. Participants should come prepared with closed shoes, warm clothing, a torch, water, wet weather gear, and a camera (without flash). Please note that the tour is not wheelchair accessible.
