Lampshade Making Workshop

This is your entree to the wonderful world of lampshade making, where you get to decide the fabric, shape and size of your new lampshade, or you can bring your own vintage shade for a makeover.

Handmade lampshades have the power to transform ordinary rooms into cozy, welcoming spaces. In this beginner-level event, you will learn how to make (or makeover) your own lampshade, in a series of 10 steps suitable for all ages from 16 years up.

All materials are provided except fabric, which you can BYO or buy on the day.
Morning tea with homemade yummies is included.

Your teacher, professional shade-maker Kate Malfroy, has a background in upholstery, a love of beautiful textiles, and a passion for helping students discover a love of this great craft.
