Their signature rail tour may have been on hold during the COVID-19 lock-downs, but now you can experience this unique day tour again.
Your journey starts at Sydney’s magnificent Central Station, travelling on the South Coast line, before heading through the beautiful Royal National Park along the way and on to the seaside town of Kiama.
Hauling the Kiama Picnic Train will be locomotive 5917, built by Baldwin (USA) in the 1950s for the NSW Government Railways.
After arrival at Kiama, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the many charms of this picturesque coastal town. Take a walk up to the famous Kiama Blowhole, relax at the Surf Beach or browse the Historic Terrace Houses.
If lunching in Kiama, please book beforehand to avoid disappointment.
If travelling on 27 or 28 November, you have the option of alighting at Albion Park for the Wings Over the Illawarra Air Show (tickets not included). Please note trains on 27 & 28 November DO NOT depart from Central.
