Step into the role of a Junior Ranger these school holidays with a hands-on guided adventure through the Lyrebird Loop walk in Minnamurra Rainforest. Set within Budderoo National Park, this engaging experience invites children to explore the natural world while learning practical bushcraft and safety skills.
Led by an experienced guide, participants discover how to navigate using maps and compasses, identify animal tracks, and uncover the hidden lives of rainforest creatures. Creative activities such as leaf printing and clay modelling add a playful, hands-on element to the journey.
This 1.6km medium-grade walk is suitable for children aged 5 years and over, who must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should bring a hat, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, snacks, and water. Please note that the tour is guided and not wheelchair accessible.
