Each renowned for their exemplary skill and genre-defying performances, this ensemble celebrates both tradition and innovation. The program encompasses sultry tangos by Argentinian classical architect of the form, Astor Piazolla, a delightful arrangement of Bach’s 6th Brandenburg Concerto, and Road to the Sun — an evocative work by one of contemporary guitar’s most legendary performer-composers, Pat Metheny.
