Kiama U3A is a non-profit, international organisation that provides informal learning and social activities for those who have retired/ semi-retired (the “third age”).
The organisation is run entirely by volunteers with an elected Committee that coordinates club activities and operations. Generally, members are aged 50+ and come from a diverse range of backgrounds, bringing an array of knowledge and skills to the club. Many of the courses and talks are conducted by the members themselves.
A newsletter is published every term with useful information on activities and events.
Regular activities include short courses on a wide range of topics, weekly talks, exercise classes and excursions.
Kiama U3A is for local residents of Kiama and surrounding areas.
