From Bean to Barista

Share a relaxed morning tea of freshly baked cake, delicious tea or (obviously) coffee before starting. Then after putting on boots, set off on a farm tour, looking at the pigs, cattle, poultry, bees, goats and gardens of Buena Vista!

Tour the coffee grove and talk about the types of coffee grown in Australia and the effects of different growing conditions. You will harvest some coffee beans yourself and then be guided through the processing stages from raw cherry to processed green bean, finishing with some roasting.

Enjoy a delicious lunch together, after which you will enjoy a coffee tasting of beans grown in different regions.

You’ll take home a small bag of freshly roasted coffee.

They only ever run this workshop during the coffee-picking season (summer) and places are strictly limited.
