Event Dates: 12 Sep 2020 — 03 Oct 2020

Come and have a walk around Buena Vista Farm with us. We’ll show you all our animal systems here including our laying hens, heritage hens, meat chickens, honey bees, ducks and our beloved dairy goats and kids. We have multiple gardens to visit: a kitchen garden overlooking the sea, a medicinal herb garden, a commercial organic market garden and a coffee grove of 100 established coffee trees.

We’ll start with a brief chat outlining the history of farming in the area, we’ll talk about the organic and regenerative agricultural practices we have going on here, and we’ll talk about living and working on a modern small-scale sustainable farm.

We’ll take a tour of the dairy, look in the window of the cheeseroom and spend some time playing with the goats. You’ll finish with a cheese tasting and there will be an opportunity to purchase farm-made and grown products at the end of the tour if you’re interested.

We’d love you to visit and hope to meet you soon!

Farm tours run from 10am until 12pm. Bookings are essential and can be done on our website.

Please contact us directly for group or private bookings on 0414 703 958.

Children under 3 are free of charge.

PLEASE NOTE: Farm tours run up to mid July only, and then will restart in late September once goat kidding is underway and cheese is being made again. The final tour for the season in 2020 is Sat 18 July.

COVID-19 Important Information

Up to ten visitors are able to book a tour at a time, please note you are responsible for any children accompanying you, please ensure they maintain appropriate social distancing from other visitors.

Cheese tasting

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we’ve had to change the format of the cheese tasting at the end of the tour. Each group who have booked and arrived together will receive a small plate of samples to try.

Farm shop

At the end of the tour there’s an opportunity to purchase farm-made products if you’re interested – there will be a small fridge set up and we’d prefer you to use card if possible, rather than cash please.

We look forward to hosting you!
