The event centres on Rising Tide, a moving-image work by Alexander Boynes, featuring an original sound score by cellist and composer Tristen Parr. Bringing live image and composed sound into close dialogue, the work aligns with the Jazz & Blues focus on music and atmosphere.

Kiama-based writer and former journalist Nick Hartgerink will lead a conversation with Alexander Boynes, offering insight into the exhibition and its themes.
