Coolangatta Estate Winery

Details

Coolangatta Estate (est. 1822) is the site of the first European settlement on the South Coast of NSW, Australia.

Coolangatta Estate is situated on the NSW South Coast only 2 hours drive from Sydney and 2 and a half hours from Canberra. It is ideally located overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Shoalhaven Heads and the Shoalhaven River, surrounded on 3 sides by rural landscape and vineyards.

You are invited to taste our estate-grown wines - Owing to a 20 year partnership with winemakers' Tyrrell's Winery in the Hunter Valley NSW, the family-owned Coolangatta Estate has grown to become the largest wine producer in the Shoalhaven and the most awarded winery on the South Coast of NSW. It is the shoalhaven's only 5 star winery (James Halliday 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 editions). By December 2014, Coolangatta Estate Wines had won 150 Trophies and over 1600 wine Awards at Regional, National and International wine shows.

Stay in our convict-built cottages - Experience 18th century charm in 21st century comfort, staying in one of Coolangatta Estate's lovingly restored convict-built rooms or suites. This unique, recently-refurbished accommodation combines all your modern facilities with the striking architecture of a bygone-era.

Scattered throughout the property, each room is just a short walk from the Estate's cellar door, restaurant, golf course, tennis court, games-room, croquet lawn, BBQ areas and solar-heated swimming pool. Many standards of accommodation are available to suit your taste, budget and family size.
