Wild Bird Experience
Did you know that over 400 kinds of wild bird have been seen in the Illawarra?
Join us for a short, illustrated presentation introducing our spectacular local bird life. Illawarra Birders will be passing on valuable knowledge and experience, culminating in a bird watching walk through Spring Creek Wetlands, a place known for it's varied and important bird life in the Kiama Municipality.
Warning: bird watching can become addictive!
To attend this workshop, please:
- bring a pair of binoculars
- wear enclosed footwear
- dress according to weather conditions (ie. cold weather gear, rain protection)
Meet at Kiama Council Administration Building (11 Manning Street) for presentation. Then travel via own transport to Spring Creek Wetlands (Glenbrook Drive) for wild bird watching.
*Bookings are essential and places are limited. To register your place at this workshop, you must be a resident of the Kiama Municipality.
